For the longest time I have been fascinated by the cycle of Life and Death, and how people can find a way to personify one or the other.

Perfect Memento is the embodiment of Death, born from humanity's belief in the apocalypse, doomsday and believing death is evil. As a result, Perfect Memento is the manifestation of the collective consciousness's perspective on such beliefs.

As a result Perfect Memento comes off as a rage-fueled, mindless and bloodthirsty entity with a penchant to destroy everything in his path, the only thing to satiate him and keep him from ending the world (albeit for a day or two) is by offering a sacrifice of a human life.

The fact that the lore about Perfect Memento is so complex and intricate, it's fascinated me since the day that his redesign was revealed and released (he was originally called HIVE, BTW).

And even though this thing has a cult of following desparate to keep him asleep, I think the main point I feel I should still cover is the lore as a whole.
